 Kathy Lynskey Wines is a privately owned boutique Marlborough wine company producing only 4500 cases of limited release, hand-crafted wines annually. The company's estate vineyard comprises 23 acres and is situated on the corner of Godfrey and Middle Renwick Roads, close to the airport in the heart of Marlborough.
The vineyard site lies on old riverbed soils adjoining the Omaka River. A combination of stone, silt and clay loams, coupled with a unique microclimate within the vineyard is proving a consistent producer of wines of exceptional quality.
From the "vineyard to the glass", each one hundred percent single varietal wine produced by the company reflects Kathy's hands-on, personal and passionate approach to creating the finest flavours in New Zealand wine.

Kathy Lynskey Pinot Noir 2004 |
This 2004 Block 36 Reserve Pinot Noir is bright crimson in colour with lifted black cherry and spicy aromas of clove and tobacco. The palate is well balanced with fine grained tannins and displays flavours of cherry, wild game, cedar and thyme. As this wine ages the tannins will soften and integrate with the fruit and spice, creating a complex elegant Pinot Noir which is expected to cellar well for at least 6-8 years. |

Kathy Lynskey Sauvingon Blanc Vineyard Select 2005 |
This 2005 vintage has a wonderful bouquet of mineral, gooseberry and tropical fruit aromas. Focused flavours of passionfruit, lemon-lime citrus, ripe gooseberry and yellow bell pepper give way to a well balanced acidity. This is an elegant, fruit forward style of Sauvignon Blanc which has a long, clean finish. |
